CBSA starts dumping investigation on nitisinone capsules from Sweden

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) launched an investigation into whether or not certain nitisinone capsules from Sweden are being sold at unfair prices in Canada. The investigation follows a complaint filed by two Canadian manufacturers.

In the next step of the investigation the Canadian International Trade Tribunal will first determine whether the imports are harming Canadian producers.

Concurrently, the CBSA will investigate whether the imports are being sold in Canada at unfair and/or subsidized prices.

Anti-dumping duties could eventually be applied to the goods under investigation.
