Are you interested? We are looking for our next Accounts Receivable Agent to join our Accounting Department in Montreal.

Montreal Office

Your main duties will be to:

  • Follow up on overdue accounts, negotiate terms and methods of payment by using critical thinking.
  • Follow up on payments, verify discrepancies and release files on hold.
  • Provide assistance to record cash receipts in the system.
  • Notify the immediate supervisor of delinquent accounts.
  • Maintain a detailed record of collection activities.
  • Generate reports detailing accounts receivable status.
  • Oversee and assist in credit reviews.
  • Support the rest of the team and perform other related tasks.

The profile we are looking for:

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in a credit and collection role
  • Organizational skills and team spirit
  • Meticulous, resourceful, and autonomous
  • Capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bilingual ( english and french) to communicate with clients in the US and outside of Quebec
  • Knowledge of Excel and Word
