Are you interested? We are looking for our next Credit and Accounts Receivable Supervisor to join our Accounting department in Montreal.

Your main duties will be to:

For each file under his responsibility

  • Manage credit investigations
  • Collect relevant information
  • Manage follow-ups with clients and internal business partners regarding overdue accounts and collect amounts owed by clients
  • Coordinate arrangements with customers
  • Proceed to stop services for non-paying customers
  • Refer files requiring external collection to the VP Finance

 

As a supervisor for the Accounts Receivable Division

  • Supervise the Accounts Receivable team (absences, evaluation, training and follow-up)
  • Advise Accounts Receivable and Collections Officers in the handling of delinquent collections cases
  • Negotiate the collection of the most complex files of the Division, in support of the agents
  • Refer problematic files requiring external collection to the VP Finance

 

In addition, the incumbent is called upon to :

  • Support the VP Finance in any other project
  • Perform any other related tasks.
  • Develop and establish performance indicators for the department and the organization

The profile we are looking for:

  • Bilingual English-French required to speak with our colleagues and clients located in Ontario and in the USA.
  • At least 5 years of experience in similar functions and management
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting administration or technical accounting
  • Team player
  • Problem solving oriented
  • Excellent ability to communicate with customers
  • Good judgment, negotiation skills, research of best practices and continuous improvement.
