The Customs Clerk is responsible for opening transactions, preparing entries. The person will be responsible for communicating with customers in order to obtain the information required for customs clearance. In addition, the person will collaborate with team members to support them in their daily activities.

Main Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Track & trace all shipments
  • Complete customs transactions according to his access and responsibilities
  • Process shipments from the DMS system as needed
  • Identify missing information and/or documents and communicate with the appropriate parties (CRS, CIS)
  • Ensure proper document management in the various files
  • Work as a team with the various departments
  • Take care of paper entries
  • All other related tasks

Required skills

  • Good knowledge of Office, ITMR, DMS software
  • Customer orientation
  • Ability to work in a team
