Customs Compliance Technician

Reporting to the Director of Compliance, the technician acts as a support to the customs compliance team. He/she is responsible for the execution of the Customs Compliance and Advisory Service activities in collaboration with the Customs Operations Department and other services offered by Axxess International.

Full Time - Possibility of Part Time

Main Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Prepare and send various communications to clients
  • Answer emails from external and internal clients, do various follow-ups.
  • Classify, record documentation in the system
  • Follow up on customer payments and credits
  • Prepare monthly reports, to clients, or as needed, etc.
  • Prepare invoices for files and fees
  • Other related administrative duties.

Required skills

  • Experience in customer service
  • Knowledge of MS Office suite
  • Conscientious and rigorous
  • Autonomous and resourceful
  • 0 to 2 years experience in customs (we will be pleased to provide you with training)
