Are you interested? We are looking for our next Realease Customs Specialist to join our Customs department.

Full Time, permanent
Montreal Office

Your main duties will be to:

  • Open files, enter data and clear files under your responsibility through customs
  • Identify missing information and documents and communicate with the appropriate parties (customers, shipping lines, other Axxess departments).
  • Issue payment requests for Terminal & Handling fees payable to freight forwarders/ship lines.
  • Resolve problems in collaboration with his/her superior and other departments.
  • Verify files according to ETAs and ensure that the right amounts are declared, the right items, in the right currencies, etc.
  • Answering basic questions from customers & truckers (telephone or e-mail, PARS check).

The profile we are looking for:

  • You already have experience of working in customs clearance
  • You are fluent in English and French, as our clients are bilingual
  • You have a CCS designation and are familiar with Canadian customs laws and regulations.
  • You are comfortable working in a team and are rigorous and autonomous.
