The purpose of this notice is to inform your company about the Finding of injury issued recently by the CITT.
On December 23, 2020, the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) made a preliminary determination of dumping concerning certain wheat gluten originating in or exported from Australia, Austria, Belgium, France, Germany and Lithuania and provisional duties became payable on the subject goods released from customs on or after that date.
On the same day, the CITT (Canadian International Trade Tribunal) has initiated an inquiry to determine whether the dumping of the subject goods was causing injury or retardation or threatening to cause injury to the domestic industry.
On March 23, 2021, the President of the Canada Border Services Agency has made a final determination of dumping on the subject goods.
On April 22, 2021, the CITT has found that the dumping of the subject goods has caused injury to the domestic industry.
