Tribunal finds dumping of sucker rods from China injures Canadian industry

The Canadian International Trade Tribunal announced on December 17, 2018 its finding that the dumping and subsidizing of sucker rods originating in or exported from China have caused injury to the domestic industry.

Anti-dumping and countervailing duties will therefore be collected by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) on importations of these goods.

The Tribunal’s inquiry and finding follow the issuance by the President of the CBSA of a final determination dated November 14, 2018 to the effect that the above-mentioned goods have been dumped and subsidized.
