The offer provides for a cumulative increase of more than 20% over six years.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The MEA asked the union for a reply to the offer by 8:00 pm on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>The MEA informed the union that, in the absence of an agreement on the offer, only essential services and activities unrelated to longshoring would continue at the Port of Montreal from 9:00 pm on Sunday. No rail, truck or ship services would be provided until an agreement is reached.<\/p>\n<p><em>Message from MGT<\/em>: According to an update from MGT on Friday afternoon,\u00a0the union advised the MEA that its members will not work any shifts between 15h and 07h, on weekends or on public holidays.
