The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) processed 5,307,517 commercial trucks into Canada in 2024, as well as 3,588,120 air shipments, 1,963,455 marine containers and 1,899,664 rail cars.<\/p>\n
The Federal Agency also assessed approximately $40 billion in duties and taxes (Customs duties, Special Import Measures Act duties, GST and Excise taxes).<\/p>\n
In administering the Special Import Measures Act, the CBSA collected over $270 million in anti-dumping and countervailing duties.<\/p>\n
