The final decision will be dependent on the consensus of the CPTPP Parties.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The Government of Canada is now soliciting the views of Canadians on the potential accession of Costa Rica to the CPTPP.<\/p>\n<p>All interested parties are invited to submit their views by March 16, 2025.<\/p>\n<p>The CPTPP is a free trade agreement in force between Canada and 10 other countries in the Indo-Pacific region: Australia, Brunei, Chile, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore and Vietnam.
