The Canadian International Trade Tribunal initiated an inquiry to determine whether the dumping of corrosion-resistant steel sheet originating in or exported from T\u00fcrkiye, by Bor\u00e7elik \u00c7elik Sanayi Ticaret A.S., has caused injury or retardation or is threatening to cause injury to Canadian industry.<\/p>\n

This final injury inquiry was initiated following a notice from the Canada Border Services Agency stating that a preliminary determination had been made respecting the dumping of the above-mentioned goods, which are consequently subject to provisional duties.<\/p>\n

The Tribunal has sent the notice of commencement of inquiry, as well as a letter outlining the details of the procedures and the inquiry schedule, to known interested parties. Some interested parties have been requested to complete questionnaires.<\/p>\n

Following its investigation, the Tribunal will determine, on August 15, 2025, whether the dumping has caused injury or retardation or is threatening to cause injury to the domestic industry.<\/p>\n
