The investigations focus on imports from producers operating in or exporting from China.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The CBSA&#8217;s investigations follow a complaint filed by a Canadian manufacturer. The complainant alleges that as a result of an increase in the volume of the dumped imports, it has suffered material injury.<\/p>\n<p>In the next step of the investigations the Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) will determine, by December 15, 2025, whether the imports are harming Canadian industry.<\/p>\n<p>Concurrently, the CBSA will investigate whether the imports are being sold in Canada at unfair prices and\/or are being subsidized, and will make a preliminary decision by January 13, 2026.<\/p>\n<p>Provisional anti-dumping\/countervailing duties could eventually apply to importations of the goods under investigation.<\/p>\n<p>Link:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca\/sima-lmsi\/i-e\/tmft2025\/tmft2025-ni-eng.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Notice of initiation of investigations<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) initiated investigations to determine whether certain thermoformed molded fibre tableware is being sold at unfair prices in Canada (dumping) and\/or is being subsidized.
