However, capacity remains constrained, and a full return to normal operating levels is expected to take several more weeks.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">These limitations have resulted in ongoing backlogs not only into the Middle East but also across trade lanes traditionally routed via <strong>Abu Dhabi<\/strong>, <strong>Dubai<\/strong>, and <strong>Doha<\/strong>. In some cases, airlines are now booking several weeks in advance.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Additionally, many carriers are not honoring contract rate levels at this time and are requiring the use of <strong>Priority or Express<\/strong> services. While rates may be published, space is not guaranteed at those levels. We strongly recommend <strong>confirming availability with the Axxess team prior to booking<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Airspace across the region continues to face significant restrictions. Commercial overflight remains largely prohibited over <strong>Iraq<\/strong>, <strong>Syria<\/strong>, <strong>Bahrain<\/strong>, <strong>Kuwait<\/strong>, and <strong>Israel<\/strong>. Partial access is available over Qatar, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia, though conditions remain fluid and subject to change.<\/p>\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">Fuel-related costs are also increasing. <strong>Lufthansa<\/strong> has announced an increase in its fuel surcharge from <strong>USD 0.35 to USD 0.85 per kg chargeable<\/strong>, effective March 16.
