In December 2025, the Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) initiated an expiry review of its order made in December 2020 concerning the dumping of certain oil country tubular goods originating in or exported from Chinese Taipei, India, Indonesia, South Korea, Thailand, T\u00fcrkiye, Ukraine and Vietnam (subject goods), except for goods exported from South Korea by Hyundai Steel Company, and goods exported from T\u00fcrkiye by Borusan Mannesmann Boru Sanayi ve Ticaret A.S.<\/p>\n

Following the Tribunal’s initiation, the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) started it’s expiry review investigation to determine whether the expiry of the order is likely to result in the continuation or resumption of dumping of the subject goods.<\/p>\n

The CBSA’s investigation has now been completed and the Agency has determined that the expiry of the order is likely to result in the continuation or resumption of dumping of such goods originating in or exported from the Chinese Taipei, India, Indonesia, South Korea, Thailand, T\u00fcrkiye, Ukraine and Vietnam.<\/p>\n

The CITT will now conduct an inquiry to determine whether the expiry of its order is likely to result in injury to the Canadian industry and will issue its decision by October 7, 2026.<\/p>\n
