The inquiry follows the preliminary determinations of dumping and subsidizing made by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) on May 25, 2026.<\/p><p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal\">The inquiry covers grinding media in spherical or ovoid shape (&#8220;ball&#8221;), with a nominal diameter of 25 mm (1 inch) or greater up to and including 160 mm (6.25 inches), produced through the forging or stamping method. The Tribunal will determine whether the dumping and subsidizing have caused injury or retardation, or are threatening to cause injury, to the Canadian domestic industry.<\/p><p class=\"font-claude-response-body break-words whitespace-normal\">Parties wishing to participate were required to file their Notice of Participation and representation forms by June 9, 2026. The list of participants will be published on July 14, 2026, and the hearing will take place during the week of August 24, 2026.
