{"id":3520,"date":"2022-01-13T15:23:36","date_gmt":"2022-01-13T15:23:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/axxessintl.com\/?p=3520"},"modified":"2022-01-13T15:23:36","modified_gmt":"2022-01-13T15:23:36","slug":"canada-and-india-set-to-resume-free-trade-agreement-negotiations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/axxessintl.com\/en\/canada-and-india-set-to-resume-free-trade-agreement-negotiations\/","title":{"rendered":"Canada and India set to resume free trade agreement negotiations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Canada\u2019s Minister of International Trade, Mary Ng spoke with India\u2019s Minister of Commerce &amp; Industry, Piyush Goyal, last week.<!--more--><span id=\"more-30008\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The ministers welcomed a re-engagement on negotiations toward a Canada-India comprehensive economic partnership agreement and a Canada-India foreign investment promotion and protection agreement, and committed to working closely together to reach agreements in the coming months.<\/p>\n<p>Canada and India launched negotiations toward a Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) in 2010.
