{"id":4606,"date":"2022-05-03T13:52:34","date_gmt":"2022-05-03T13:52:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/axxessintl.com\/?p=4606"},"modified":"2022-05-03T13:52:34","modified_gmt":"2022-05-03T13:52:34","slug":"tribunal-finds-dumping-subsidizing-of-mattresses-from-china-injures-canadian-industry","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/axxessintl.com\/en\/tribunal-finds-dumping-subsidizing-of-mattresses-from-china-injures-canadian-industry\/","title":{"rendered":"Tribunal finds dumping\/subsidizing of mattresses from China injures Canadian industry"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After conducting a preliminary injury inquiry the Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) announced that it found a reasonable indication that the dumping and subsidizing of certain mattresses from the People&#8217;s Republic of China have caused injury to the domestic industry.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Now that the Tribunal ruled on the question of injury, the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) will investigate to confirm that the imports are indeed being dumped and\/or subsidized and will make a preliminary determination by May 25, 2022.<\/p>\n<p>Provisional anti-dumping and\/or countervailing duties could eventually be applicable to imports of the goods under investigation.
