Six weeks into Shanghai lockdowns, it still hasn\u2019t happened, say two liner CEOs: Maersk\u2019s Soren Skou and Matson\u2019s Matt Cox.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe port [of Shanghai] is open and operating,\u201d said Skou on Wednesday. Trucking and warehouse disruptions \u201care slowing things down somewhat and we are seeing an impact on our volumes out of China, but probably less than we would have expected.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe purchase orders that our customers have issued in China don\u2019t disappear because we have [a lockdown], so obviously they will come later. But right now, we don\u2019t see a huge buildup of volumes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Cox reported on Tuesday that \u201cthe impact to Matson\u2019s China operations has been minimal.
