Please take note of the current situation affecting certain imports to Montreal destined for CN Rail container yards.<\/p>\n

In order to decongest the terminals and ensure better fluidity in the flow of goods, CN has opened a new container yard in Valleyfield (Montreal area).<\/p>\n
This allows CN to divert containers at their discretion to the container yard in Valleyfield and unfortunately, there are additional charges associated with this.<\/p>\n
CN requires a guarantee of $550 per unit and it is quite possible that truckers charge additional fees to pick up and return empty containers to this depot.<\/p>\n

Our logistics experts will notify you as soon as possible if your containers are affected by these measures.<\/p>\n
