The Government of Canada announced the launch of public consultations on the country’s negotiations towards the Americas Partnership for Economic Prosperity (APEP).<\/p>\n

Initiated by the United States, APEP is a new framework for cooperation across the Americas. The partnership includes 12 APEP partners committed to working together to advance mutual interests by strengthening regional competitiveness and supply chain resiliency, as well as by promoting shared prosperity, and inclusive and sustainable development and investment.<\/p>\n

Submissions received from these consultations will help define Canada’s priorities in potential APEP negotiations.<\/p>\n

Interested stakeholders can participate in these consultations until May 9, 2023.<\/p>\n
