{"id":9508,"date":"2024-05-14T18:14:04","date_gmt":"2024-05-14T18:14:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/axxessintl.com\/?p=9508"},"modified":"2024-05-14T18:14:04","modified_gmt":"2024-05-14T18:14:04","slug":"tribunal-finds-dumping-of-wire-rod-from-china-egypt-and-vietnam-injures-canadian-industry","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/axxessintl.com\/en\/tribunal-finds-dumping-of-wire-rod-from-china-egypt-and-vietnam-injures-canadian-industry\/","title":{"rendered":"Tribunal finds dumping of wire rod from China, Egypt and Vietnam injures Canadian industry"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>After conducting a preliminary injury inquiry the Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) announced that it found a reasonable indication that the dumping of certain wire rod from the People&#8217;s Republic of China, the Arab Republic of Egypt and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam has caused injury or is threatening to cause injury to the domestic industry.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>The Tribunal&#8217;s inquiry was conducted a result of the initiation of a dumping investigation by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA).<\/p>\n<p>Now that the Tribunal ruled on the question of injury, the CBSA will investigate to confirm that the imports are indeed being dumped and will make a preliminary determination by June 6, 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Provisional anti-dumping duties could eventually be applicable to imports of the goods under investigation.
