The Quebec Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility has established planned dates for the spring thaw period and load restrictions that apply to trucks for each of the three zones of Quebec.
Zone 1: from Monday, March 16 (00:01) to Friday, May 15 (23:59).
Zone 2: from Monday, March 23 (00:01) to Friday, May 22 (23:59).
Zone 3: from Monday, March 30 (00:01) to Friday, May 29 (23:59).
The dates indicated represent the most likely start and end dates of the thaw period for each of the three zones. Depending on weather conditions, these dates may be brought forward or delayed.
