Anti-dumping duty no longer applies to hot-rolled carbon steel plate from Ukraine

The Canadian International Trade Tribunal announced it terminated the expiry review of its order concerning the dumping of hot-rolled carbon steel plate and high-strength low-alloy steel plate from Ukraine, and hence rescinded its order concerning the aforementioned goods.

The Tribunal found that continuation of the order is not supported by Canadian producers. Following the Tribunal’s decision, the CBSA closed its own expiry review investigation.

Effective September 18, 2025, anti-dumping duty will no longer be levied on importations of the subject goods.
