CBSA concludes undertaking review on sucker rods from from Argentina, Brazil and Mexico

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) announced it concluded undertaking reviews in relation to certain sucker rods from exporting parties Metalmecanica S.A. from Argentina, Confab Industrial S.A. from Brazil, and Tubos de Acero de Mexico S.A. from Mexico.

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) processed 5,307,517 commercial trucks into Canada in 2024, as well as 3,588,120 air shipments, 1,963,455 marine containers and 1,899,664 rail cars.

According to data for the year 2024 released by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) global air cargo demand increased 11.3% (12.2% for international operations) compared to 2023. IATA notes that full-year 2024 demand exceeded the record volumes set in 2021.
