CBSA issues dumping determination on oil country tubular goods from several countries

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) made a preliminary determination of dumping respecting certain oil country tubular goods originating in or exported from Mexico and the Philippines, and originating in Türkiye and exported or produced by, or on behalf of, Borusan Mannesmann Boru Sanayi Ve Ticaret A.S. (Borusan), originating in South Korea and exported or produced by, or on behalf of, Hyundai Steel Company (Hyundai Steel), and originating in the United States Of America and exported or produced by, or on behalf of, Tenaris S.A.

Provisional duties at rates ranging from 5.3% to 148.4% will now be payable on the subject goods that are released from customs on or after December 22, 2025.

The Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) will now formally determine, by April 21, 2026, if the dumping is causing prejudice to Canadian industry.
