Are you interested? We are looking for our next Customs Import Specialist to join our Customs department in Montreal, Quebec, Trois-Rivières or Lacolle.

Full time - Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 5pm
Montreal, Quebec, Trois-Rivières or Lacolle Office

Your main duties will be to:

  • Participate in the implementation of new Quebec and Ontario clients in collaboration with the sales department
  • Open customer files, enter data, validate information, verify credit and do the billing
  • Obtain required information or documents from customers, suppliers, carriers, customs and other offices
  • Identify profile changes and inform the senior evaluator
  • Communicate regularly, answering questions from customers, carriers, customs and other offices
  • Follow up with clients and carriers
  • Answer customer phone calls
  • Work as a team with all departments
  • Other related duties

The profile we are looking for:

  • 2 to 5 years experience in a senior underwriting position
  • Bilingual in French and English, so you can communicate with your colleagues and customers across North America.
  • Mastery of Canadian customs laws and regulations.
  • CCS designation
  • Mastery of the Harmonized Commodity Description and Coding System
  • Customer oriented: meet needs and expectations
  • Proactive, autonomous, productive, resourceful and organized
  • Team player, good communicator, good judgment, leadership
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage different projects
  • Computer skills: MS Office Suite, IMANET an asset
