Transpacific Capacity Pullbacks Persist

Over the next five weeks, weeks 9 (23 February – 1 March) to 13 (23–29 March), 76 blank sailings have been announced out of roughly 705 scheduled departures representing 11% cancellation rate.

The majority of the cancellations will hit the Transpacific eastbound (61%), followed by Asia–Europe/Med (24%) and the Transatlantic westbound (16%), while 89% of sailings are expected to sail as scheduled.
