Canadian railways’ freight volume was up slightly in November

Statistics Canada reports that Canadian railways transported 32.4 million tonnes of freight in November, slightly above (+0.8%) November 2022 levels. Earlier this month the U.S. Department of Commerce announced its findings that imports of tin mill products from Canada, China, Germany, and the Republic of Korea are being unfairly priced, i.e., dumped, into the U.S. market, and imports of tin mill products from China are also being subsidized.
