Tribunal to review expiry of duties on liquid dielectric transformers from South Korea

The Canadian International Trade Tribunal initiated an expiry review of its May 2018 order to determine if the expiry of the order is likely to lead to continued or resumed dumping of liquid dielectric transformers from the Republic of South Korea and is likely to result in injury to the domestic industry.

Canada’s merchandise trade deficit narrowed to $160 million in December

Statistics Canada announced that the country’s merchandise exports decreased 1.2% in December, mostly on lower exports of energy products. Meanwhile, imports were down 1.3%, mainly driven by lower imports of consumer goods.
