U.S. airlines carried 78.4 million scheduled service passengers in November

According to the Bureau of Transportation Statistics' (BTS) U.S. airlines carried 74.8 million systemwide (domestic and international) scheduled service passengers in November 2025. When adjusted for seasonality, November enplanements are down 1.4% from October and down 4.3% from the all-time high reached in June 2024.

BTS reported 65.4 million domestic passengers and 9.4 million international passengers on U.S. airlines flights in November, not adjusting for seasonality.

Systemwide enplanements (74.8M) were down 3.7% from the all-time November high (77.7) reached in 2023. Domestic enplanements (65.4M) were down 4.4% from the all-time November high (68.4) reached in 2023. International enplanements (9.41M) reached a new all-time high for the month of November.
