The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) announced that it needed more time to complete the re-investigation to update the normal values and export prices of certain carbon steel fasteners originating in or exported from the People’s Republic of China (China) and the Separate Customs Territory of Taiwan, Penghu, Kinmen and Matsu (Chinese Taipei), and the amounts of subsidy of certain fasteners originating in or exported from China.
The re-investigation has been extended by seven days due to the complexity and novelty of the issues presented by the re-investigation.
The re-investigation will now conclude by May 30, 2024.
Orders from the Canadian International Trade Tribunal impose anti-dumping and/or countervailing duties on importations of the specified goods.
