The Government of Canada launched a public consultation on regulatory opportunities to improve the efficiency and resiliency of Canada’s supply chains.
The consultation is open until January 15, 2024, and seeks feedback on supply chain issues related to critical minerals, transportation, and border operations.
The supply chain is a broad concept that touches on all aspects of the global economy, spanning interconnected networks that support the movement of raw materials, components, and goods before their assembly and sale.
Given the breadth of supply chains and associated regulations, Ottawa identified three themes for consultation:
• Border operations
• Critical minerals
• Transportation
The deadline to submit is January 15, 2024.
