Italian hauliers to halt trucks from Monday due to fuel prices

To all importers and exporters from/to Italy:

A strike has been declared starting Monday March 14th by Nationals Trucking Association. The strike has been declared due to the fuel prices increase of 30% in less than one week and the situation is no more sustainable.

At this point no pickup and delivery services can be granted.

The strike could have severe consequences on all logistics sectors which is already facing congestion issues and major delays.

We will continue to monitor the situation closely.

In addition, there is the possibility of future disruptions in the railway sector. CP employees have voted for a strike, which could begin as early as March 16.
