The Canadian International Trade Tribunal initiated an expiry review of its order made in February 2018, to determine if the expiry of the order is likely to lead to continued or resumed dumping or subsidizing of certain stainless steel sinks from China, and and if this would likely result in injury to the domestic industry.
In the first step of the review the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) will determine, by April 27, 2023, if there is a likelihood of resumed or continued dumping or subsidizing if the finding is left to expire.
In the event of a positive determination, the Tribunal will determine, on October 4, 2023, whether the continued or resumed dumping or subsidizing is likely to result in injury to the domestic industry.
