Due to the increasing volume of international import containers dwelling at its inland terminals, CP is implementing an initiative to manage fluidity at its Lachine Terminal through the securement of a local satellite storage facility located at Amar Transport.
No billing changes are required.
Containers moved to Amar Transport will be communicated to CP’s direct customers, who will provide direction as required.
The process to pick up at the Amar Transport facility remains the same as at the Lachine Terminal: Carriers will need to ensure any applicable charges have been guaranteed and a valid pickup number is required prior to attending the gate. Validation of information will be enforced.
