CUSMA Panel upholds Canadian Tribunal decision on gypsum board from the U.S.

On June 14, 2022, the Canada-United States Mexico Agreement (CUSMA) Binational Panel issued its Decision in the matter of Certain Gypsum Board, Sheet, or Panel originating in or exported to Canada from the United States.

The Binational Panel affirmed the Canadian International Trade Tribunal’s final determination.

The Canadian Intentional Trade Tribunal had found that the dumping of certain gypsum board from the United State, imported for use in the provinces of British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba, as well as the Yukon and Northwest Territories injured Canadian industry.
