Are you interested? We are looking for our next Customs Release Specialist to join our Customs department in Lacolle.

Your main duties will be to:

  • Complete management of the opening of a client file;
  • Proceed with the release and confirmation of customs files in a compliant way;
  • Obtain information or documents required from the customers, suppliers, transporters, customs and other Axxess offices;
  • Identify changes to profiles and inform intermediate or senior rater;
  • Communicate regularly, efficiently & answer questions from customers, truckers, customs and other offices;
  • Follow up proactively with clients and carriers and update files to ensure effective follow-up.

The profile we are looking for:

  • English and French mandatory to speak with your colleagues and clients across North America
  • High school diploma
  • 5 years of experience or more in customs
  • CCS, CTCS certification
  • High knowledge of Canadian customs release process.
  • Knowledge of Imanet system, Excel and Microsoft Office.
