US Customs Specialist

The Customs specialist reports to the US Customs Director and plays a key role in the day to day operational requirements for the business.

Main responsabilities

  • Prepare department documentation
  • Customer service, responding to all internal and client inquiries via telephone and email
  • Coordinate the Customs clearance for shipments
  • Tracking the status of shipments
  • Perform billing functions including preparing customer invoices

Qualifications required

  • Minimum 1 year of operational experience in customs brokerage, a good understanding of the industry
  • Highly motivated team player
  • Customer service oriented
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast pace environment and set priorities
  • Bilingual (French and English)
