Tribunal maintains injury finding on cold-rolled steel from China, South Korea and Vietnam

The Canadian International Trade Tribunal announced that it continued its finding made in December 2018 concerning the dumping and subsidizing of cold-rolled steel from the People’s Republic of China, the Republic of Korea and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

The Tribunal found that the expiry of the order (which would end the imposition of anti-dumping and countervailing duties) was likely to result in injury to Canadian industry. As such, the Tribunal continued its order.

The Canada Border Services Agency will therefore continue to impose anti-dumping and countervailing duties on this product.
